Do you have moments when you
don’t know what you’re doing?
Like, you haven’t the faintest clue
On which direction you’re going?
Like, you know the goal at the end
And which and where you want to be
But not sure which ladder to ascend
Or how or which ship to take to sea?
Would you ask people you meet
Which way to go or which path leads where?
Would you wonder if their answers will lead
Where you wanted to be, that place over “there.”
What if what they say is untrue and faux
And you end up where you don’t want to be?
Do you keep going and see where it goes?
Or would you refuse this opportunity?
Sometimes your mind plays tricks on you
You’ll believe that this path you thought of
Was a life sentence you had to go through
Even though it might’ve fit like a glove.
Most of the time, though, you kind of forget
To explore what life has in store for you.
Remember to take paths you least expect
And do things you’d never thought you’d do.
Through the pain and turbulent times
You’ll realize that fate will teach you to flow
Within and through the blessings in disguise
To show the direction you’re meant to go.
